cny ice spots

i live in liverpool ny and i am looking for other good places to ice fish without traveling a long way.i fish oneida lake and deruyter lake mostly.any other local place that produce a good number of perch ,walleye,or carapie.

For big perch out that way, I recommend Sodus Bay. There are other bays between there and you (Fairhaven, Little Sodus, etc) but I'm not too familiar with them.

Sandy pond produces a good number of gills and crappie off of greene point. eyedoktr is right sodus has some big perch and when its hot there is no problem getting a limit of them in just a couple hours. Even when its slow the fish are big enough to make it worth waiting for them.

is sodus fishable yet.where is the best place to launch from.do i need my snowmobile. i have fished as far as fair haven how much farther is sodus.is the one next to fair haven little sodus or blind sodus.
