Indian Summer eyes

Braved the 48 degree temps today. Found 3.5" of clear ice and a nice pair of willing participants.

Some nice eyes there !! Hit a whopping 43* here at the house today. Felt nice. Forecast says -40* next Tuesday morning. I'm hoping it's wrong.  ;D

48 is more of a gripe in CO, doesnt seem our larger metro waters are gonna have much fishable ice this year. I sure as heck wont be seen where I was yesterday, today (forecasted to be 61 smh). And the mountain lakes are just becoming fishable, latest I can recall mountain lakes gettin safe in a coons age.
