Title: cradle weighing system

Do any of you who care about the well being of large fish weigh them in some sort of cradle? I'm trying to make something up other than bringing my bulky cradle net on the ice. I thought about using the bag to a hub style shanty and wetting the inside of it before putting the fish in to protect the slime from coming off. What do you think?

I use a cradle that I got from Jann's Netcraft.  I modified the aluminum poles by cutting them shorter.
