Check the equipment forum there are a few threads on this.

There is currently no website with them in stock, however some stores do. Check the threads for more info.

Eagle Claw sold a bunch of them straight from the warehouse for $15 that didn't have any packaging.  They are sold out now. I don't know of any online places that have them available.

Not every Gander got them. Sounds like Cabelas are getting them as well.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

I think with all the news in the last two weeks they are all gone. I have used mine twice and it has been just superb. Maybe the best feeling reel i have ever used.

Does anyone know how you can change the handle on the reel to the opposite side?

This is how I switched to right hand drive...
Unscrew free spool push button knob by turning counter clockwise.
Remove knob and spring from underneath.
Remove screw from handle nut boss.
Remove nut boss.
Remove handle nut.
Remove handle.
Remove star drag assembly by turning counter clockwise.
Remove spring compression washers.
Remove shaft bearing(encourage it to fall out by pushing and releasing the free spool button).
Remove one-way bearing and flip it over(I had to use a dental pick to get a couple of the one-way bearings out).
Reassemble in reverse order.
Enjoy your right hand drive reel.

Will this work for the 6061?

I don't know.  I don't plan on laying out $100 for one any time soon either. The 6061s look like nice reels but overpriced IMHO.
The EC factory sale was a good opportunity to try these new reels for a very reasonable price. I picked up 4 of them for $65 shipped and feel that they are worth the $30 retail price.
