Walleye in a natural lake

I fish a natural lake in Indiana. The lake 1800 plus acres with lots of deep water. The lake structure is humps and underwater islands weedbeds all sand bottom. Can't seem to find the walleye on any of the structure. How do you disect all that deep water?
