Interesting and hoping that this weather pattern turns colder next season because there’s only been about three out of ten years with really good ice.

Fishermen are a hypocritical, overtly optimistic bunch arent we.....if that long range outlook said warmer than normal we'd all say weather people cant forecast accurately a week out....but on the flip side if the long range suggest cold, even a year out we cling to it like gospel.

I don't think "hypocritical" is the right word. Maybe "overly optimistic."

That too....I cant worry about next season with an entire open water season ahead.

Stocking trucks are already out and about in CT.  Might need to dust off the long rods and get my CT license.
