Brave Granddaughter
« on: Jan 03, 2014, 12:10 AM »
Took my 4 year old granddaughter who lives with us to a local lake near Woodland Park.  We caught a mized dozen of stocker trout and suckers.  Kept the suckers for laker/pike bait.

Here's my little girl tossing her first sucker out on the ice.  She can't wait to go back and catch some more.

Awesome Video. Took my lil girls out for the first time on new years eve out at Skagway. My 3 yr old caught her first fish. Lil rainbow stocker. Nothing like seeing the lil ones light up when a fish comes through the hole.   Awesome job.    btw, where were you guys fishing out of? I would love to catch a few suckers to use as pike bait.

Good stuff. I remember when I was about 12 years old I went fishing with my Cousins. One was a little girl about that same age. When she caught a fish. Instead of hitting it on the head to make it quit wiggling she would bite them on the head until dead. I thought she was crazy. Her brother never did that.

Thanks everyone.  She's a special one, that's for sure.

Cav - Manitou Lake.  $6 fee but worth it for the suckers.
