I guess I like bad weather at the Mile. The wind was epic today, temps were mild and the catching was spotty. I managed a 15" cutthroat and that was it. Lot's of slimers and very few quality fish. I had a waterdog down all day and did not see any pike at spot #1. I saw two at spot #2 but when my waterdog was high the pike came in low and vice versa. One looked to be about fifteen pounds, the other six to eight.
That's 11 Mile - love her or hate her but she'll tereat you the same, regardless.
Maybe Monday will be better!
