Me and two buddies fished Lake Deweese Sunday about 3" of solid clear ice by the dam. landed about 30 fish in about 4 1/2 hours over all not a bad day. All fish averaged about 16 inches started getting soft around noon so we called it a day.

It's good to hear that the lake is getting ice! I was going to take a trip up there over thanksgiving but I didn't maybe I'll get a chance when I visit my folks around Christmas.

It's a fun little lake to fish and the scenery is beautiful. 16" average? They must have had a good growing season there. Most times I've ever fished there, they were the 12" stocker variety.

It would be nice to figure out a pattern for the smallies in there. It's a blast when you luck into them...
