Tally lake?

Anybody ever fish tally thru the ice? Anybody know what the ice conditions are? I want to give it a shot but have never fished it. Any pointers? Where to fish or anything? Thanks

I have fished it twice, 2 different winters....and have never caught anything!  Tried for Pike and Macks...

If you don't have an ATV or a Sled many years that is the only way to get in there because the road isn't maintained...at least it didn't use to be I haven't been up there in a couple years.

The road in might actually be maintained this year as their are several forest service projects going on up there.  Call the Tally Lake Ranger District and see what they say...then let us know! ;D
