Long Lake, long face
« on: Jan 10, 2004, 06:10 PM »
We did the whole tour today, and only wound up with 10 or 12 fish caught between 4 of us.  We started a ittle late, but still....we went to Collingwood, McPheat Park, the stone barn and the cutbank across from Pelican and it just blew.  I don't think I've ever seen so many fishermen out there at once and nobody I saw seemed to really be killing them.  A couple of good ole boys drove by and they had a few nice fish (not sure where they bought them), but they seemed to just be driving around looking for drinks!   A guy may have to go back to the Fishing lakes till Last Mountain perks up again (or are we just doing it all wrong?)

The problem with quotes on the internet is that they're difficult to prove.

the only thing i heard where the fish are on the mountain is up by liberty. they are apparently catching big perch up there in about thirty feet. dont know the exact location. we were at pasqua today and hammered the walleyes in the evening and there is supposed to be a good perch bite on katepwa. might check it out tomorrow.
