Title: First catfish through the ice

Was a pretty fun fight on light gear. And hearing that drag ripping.

Great catch! I love to eat them through the ice, they are outstanding!  Fun to catch a well. I got one yesterday on 2lb test fishing for perch all I wanted, what a blast. He was released as I was on foot and going light.  Not next time.

Yep, wife wanted me to bring dinner home and she loves fried catfish as much as I do.

With these temps and the edges on glendo thinking about heading for keyhole in the morning. Would be nice to put some crappie on ice. I'm told pretty hard to target them on glendo anyway.
