has anyone icefished moose pond in acton.

I've fished this pond a couple of times by canoe over the years,and never really did to well on it mostly a few small bass and perch,buts it's convenient to where i live so I'm thinking of hitting it this winter,any info. on fishing it would be appreciated.-htw

I used to fish it alot when great east opened Feb 1st. We used to catch Brookies in there along with bass and perch.

Any Ice on it yet?

i never fished moose but right around the corner i used to get some pretty fast action with bass at hidden lake...im with Flag...is there ice yet? i can be thee in 45 minutes

Fished it open and hard water when I was a teenager...caught many nice brookies out of there..course, that was over 50 yrs ago, might have changed now..

 hi herm, i have fish it regularly. both open and iced in.  i have yet to catch any brookies. plenty of bass and pickrels.  i know that the state does put some brookies in there .  there is no limit on the warm water species. went over to a friends house that is next to the camp road on the pond on sat. still open. PM me and we can get meet up and fish it..  think ice ......
