One of my favorite lakes to ice fish, and I usually only get up there (because it's an hour drive for me) once or twice in a season.

I called a buddy and he told me I was on the wrong side of the lake. I moved back into the bay and limited out on panfish.

Glad you found them - I do remember that I had a hard time my very first time on Summit.  I caught a nice gill on the first drop at 9 AM, and then not (as far as I could tell) another bite until I had to leave 3 and a half hours later.  No electronics in my arsenal at that time to know any different, but I was set up on a brush pile near a fairly meaningful change in depth.  In trips since then, I've caught fish about everywhere I've tried, although I have not ever gone out and drilled over the deeper basin by the dam (if that's where you were the other day).
