Been working on my sled. Recognizing it and modifying  some. I'd show pic but can't figure out how to post then. I would also put pic on profile too.
??? If someone would  tell me how. Do you have to be a paying member to post pics?

Sometimes you have to take a little drive this time of year if the weather doesn't cooperate.  Caught crappie up to 12", bluegill to 8.5", and perch & LMB to round it out this weekend on 6" of ice.

Dropped off the ATV for a service.  We plan to list our house for sale in January so there's more than enough to do every weekend until our ice locks up.  Yesterday was the basement then I watched Bucky get crushed last night.  Brutal!  Today I went through 2 dozen or so old tip ups I restored/relubed in the offseason.  I got fresh line on them and a little paint on the Beaver Dam spools that took solder.  I hope to hit some ice for pannies/pike/eyes after Christmas...without leaving Colorado.

Put the tree up and trimmed it...ordered more jigs and lures, ordered a spare float and stoppers for the M68...drove by the local lakes...not safe, checked the weather report...warm...

Got a pair of sweet old DynaStar skis from the work calssifieds. Going to build up a proper smitty sled before its time to go hit Grand Lake after the first of the year. Cant WAIT.

Also going to spend some time this season focusing on tip up fishing pike at Tarryall. Exercise in frustration to be sure, but... The gear is already ready to go.

Are you guys catching perch within a hundred miles of Denver?  You must be out east somewhere.  I know Barr lake had a cap a couple of weeks ago.  That's the only possibility close to town that I know where both perch and ice would be. ???
