Title: 1000 islands report from Thousand Island Bait (tibait.com)
Post by: wildlifecaretaker on Jan 14, 2007, 09:45 PM
WE DO NOT HAVE ANY ICE AT THE MOMENT, WE WILL UPDATE AS CONDITIONS CHANGE.
MANY PEOPLE ARE STILL FISHING FROM THEIR BOATS. PERCH HAVE BEEN BITING IN 12 TO 20 FEET OF WATER. FROM SHORE YOU CAN FISH FROM THE NEW FRINK PARK DOCK IN DOWNTOWN CLAYTON OR GIVE IT A TRY FROM ANY OF OUR STATE PARKS. IF YOUR LUCKY YOU MIGHT EVEN CATCH A PIKE. A FEW PIKE HAVE BEEN CAUGHT UP BY KRING'S POINT AND THEY ARE STILL CATCHING SOME OFF THE DOCKS IN CAPE VINCENT.
HOPEFULLY WINTER WILL ARRIVE SOON AND WE CAN GET DOWN TO SOME SERIOUS ICE FISHING. WE HAVE CERTIFIED VHS FREE BAIT.
ICE FISHING DERBY'S WILL BE POSTED AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.
