Well today and tomorrow don't sound good for ice conditions. I drove out yesterday and fished in the deep water by Burtons . Hit a spot where the perch were feeding on the elwise  and it was non stop for about 2 hours then nothing . Best day this year. Don't know if I'll be driving out again with the wind and warm temps. The Georgia beach ramp is in good shape .

I ran out of maggots yesterday with four fat bluegill below me.

The top of 14" of ice was slushy yesterday, I bet it will be mushy by the weekend. Time to fish for steelhead.

Were you finish off the bottom or about 10ft up from it? I had good luck up about 10 ft but barely anything directly on the bottom

I was picking up nice perch about 1 foot or so off the bottom, which is usually where i have my best luck. I don't usually fish that deep with a bibit but it worked good this time.
