BlueGill Hunt

I fish this pond all summerlong and catch thousands of gills why am i having such a hard time catching gills on ice? :wacko:
When Hell freezes over i'll ice fish there too.>:D

this has been an odd season for me as well, last year I used a GOS to mark all my honey holes this year in two outings and much moving I have yet to see a gill on camera...it is very strange....I have covered edges, the deeper area and thick weed beds, nothing....the pike bite is also slow in the area but I guess with no gills to bring them in, this could be the issue

Need more info: How large is the pond?  Depth ranges, structure, etc. They're in there, you just havent hit the spot yet.
