Finicky Blue Gills

I could not get these gills to go. I  tied on a small jig,clear, shaped like a disco ball, very small the size of a pin head. With a small piece of wax worm. the Gills took these with out hesitation.

I got around 30 fish in an hour and a half. Kept a few for dinner.

Going small usually pays on a tough bite. They might be not be hungry enough to feed but curious, they often use their mouths to feel things much like we use our hands
