~20 turkeys this morning near Black Creek on the way to work - 2 toms parading around in the middle of the flock.

Oh, and more damned geese than I have seen in months, including snows.
I'm a-going to stay where ya sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk who invented work
In the big rock candy mountains.

Thats a rope!!!
A real dragger!
Hear a bunch of birds gobbling this weekend near Cuba, boy was it HOT!
I imagined those heads turning all different sorts of color, blue, red white back thru the mix!!
Whammo in the back of the vest you go!

Well my icefishing gear is put away for the season and the turkey vest is loaded and ready to go. I like to fish but hunting really gets the blood moving.

Of all the things I never expected to see, I saw a killdeer yesterday at Black Creek Park!

Oh, and note to self - you're out of shape.  The 6 mile round trip killed you.
