What is your favorite lake to fish in NY

I guess it depends on what you wish to target and how far and often your willing to travel and you have the resources to do so

Lake Erie is hard to beat, it's just a smorgasbord. The lake holds the largest perch, walleye, and small mouth found anywhere.

Living in Roch, I can either go right -Oneida or left -Erie or north Ontario. Can't beat Oneida for ice fishing but the quantity, variety and size of fish in Erie is unbelievable.

It's a tougher question for me than for some people. If I can only pick 1, then Lake George is it, but Paradox and Champlain come very close, and sometimes when I just need a break or variety then nothing but a Paradox or Champlain trip will do, even when LG is in prime time.

Oneida hands down still trying to completely figure her out but i'm getting there.

Lake George and Oneida, fished them both finally this season and fell in love with King lakers and Oneida eyes!
