hey did i see you out on friday? we had a shanty and a sled with 3 guys. we went out and fished by sabel? we caought 3 lakers. biggset was 26,smallest was 5 inches

Yes we were just south of there. my first time on the lake and wasnt sure where to go. How much water were you in? We were in about 25'. Had my marcum with me and didnt mark a single fish. I bet we drilled 60 holes!

yesterday we were fishing in 18fow and the smelt were hitting like crazy.But no trout and the wind was whipping big time.

fished indian lake twice this year caught two little lakers wasn't even worth the 1 mile walk to get to the deep whole

does anybody ever catch browns in there anymore? i went out yesterday and got 2 lakers 23 and a 21. but no browns, and r there brookys in there?

I have only caught browns below the dam, upriver from Abanakee.  They seem to do well in there, but I don't seem to hear much about football browns in Indian Lake itself anymore.  Sort of odd.

As for brookies, I often hear that late April can be good in open water at the mouth of the Jessup.  I have never tried it though.  There are usually enough small 'bows and browns in the Indian River proper to keep my content.
