Derby Time
« on: Jan 13, 2005, 07:31 PM »
Hoping to go to an ice fishing derby or two this winter. Anyone know of any good ones that will be happening? Huge prizes aren't real important.

Regina Beach is March 5th.  Jackfish Lake (www.northstars.ca) is Feb 26.  Usually ones at Emma, Chitek and Wakaw but haven't heard of dates yet.

What is everyone's strategy going into a fishing derby that is allready pre-drilled? I my self like to be away from the main concentration if I can, like to find my own piece of ice with less activity on it if possable.
