middle thompson

Hello all I was wondering if anyone has any ice conditions on middle thompson lake for the tourney next weekend?  Hopefull after this cold snap there will be some good ice.

Hey,

I fished all three Thompson Lakes in a tournament last week end.  It was sponsored by the Fish Creek Vol. Fire Dep. and Un official headquarters the Kicking Horse Bar. about 45 miles East of Libby Mt.

Is there another tournament there or are we talking about the same lakes or have you missed it?

Some time in the near future there is another tournament at Mcgregor Lake just down the road, but I am not sure when.

Anyway about 7-8 inches good ice and that was before the temp dropped below zero for a few days.  The tournament fishing was real slow for all 350 participants.

dinga i was wondering the same thing. is this tourney coming up? im goin to be in whitefish next weekend and would love to join in on the tourney. last year i always had slow days on middle although i would hear opposite from others. some more info would be great!!!

That tourney is done for this year, unless there is another one I don't know about.
