What's up gang!!
Going out tomorrow. How is the ice? Debating rather to bring sidexside or not.

That's what I heard too. I'd like 8 for sidexside.

I hit the lake this afternoon in front of the park. Hard to believe that two weeks ago that area was wide open and there had to be a good 7" of ice and all black ice to boot. Sporty you should be fine.. I saw sleds and wheelers out there today.

I hit it because it's the only spot within an hour of me other that the Susquehanna River and Cayuta (which is also a dead sea). Plus, every now and then I run into BigAl and you know how entertaining that can be!  ;D I wish the reservoir would recover to its prime again also! The eyes seem to get to 17 inches and stay there. I know there are some nice ones to be had, buy they seem to be few and far between.

Kind of a strange mix given my location....

Even with a smitty sled, it was a bit of a tough drag out on Sunday.  I said the heck with this and started drilling holes in 17fow.

Looks like I'll be going back to WP tomorrow since I haven't seen any posts on the south side of Owasco here or on FaceBook.

I'm optimistic the snow/slush on top will do more liquefying this week then refreeze, that should get it about where it needs to be.

Fished the Res yesterday afternoon 1-5....super slow till 330 then the walleye bite lit up till i left!!  Few perch mixed in...

Around 10 inches of ice with 3 inches of slush under the snow.
