It's that time of year again to proclaim your ICE FISHING RESOLUTIONS! Will it be trying new waters? or new gear? Maybe fishing with new people or calling up some old friends? Well spill away..............

And as for me, I think I'm gonna try some new waters, maybe Candice, or Sodus Bay. And heck I think I might even spend a little more time traveling to some exotic places up North like Black Lake or Onieda......anyone in?

Catch a landlock salmon big enough to cut into steaks (6 pounder), then eat it, and ice a laker over 10 pounds. That would make my season.

gecko, I'd be up for Hemlock or Canadice if you'd like company some time. Perhaps I've even met you before - when I moved from Spencerport to West Chili back in May, I talked to someone from Dino who had just delivered to Pineway Ponds
park, and we compared Subaru notes.

I would love to aswell but If you remember last year when you and I fished the tourney I mentioned we were in the middle of buying a house and the wife was pregnant. Well we bought the house and Kaitlyn rae hall was born on july 22 05. Ummm so I cont swing it this year. I am hoping to hit 2-3 stops on the tour next year....

#1 Have fun and fish. #2 Catch a walleye on the jigging rod. #3 Place in the on line tourney #4 Get some more ice (especially on my pike honey hole!)

Keep teaching my twelve year old what I know about icing fish, that ought to take another five minutes...Then I'll watch him out-fish me like he always does!
