Title: Ice Safety
Post by: bwalleye on Jan 06, 2006, 12:33 AM
As a rookie hardwater fisherman, I search for info all over.  This video from the Discovery Channel I thought most interesting.  I made my son sit and watch it then we talked about it.  Perhaps you have seen it, not a bad idea to watch again

Great video !!! Too bad more people don't watch this and learn something !
It only takes a couple of minutes and it could save your life or your buddies life .
Too many people think ... IT WONT HAPPEN TO THEM ... SUPRISE ... IT CAN !
Thanks for the post bwalleye its nice to know there are people out there looking out for the wellbeing of their fellow ice fans !

i have seen that before but didn't mind watching that again. a reminder of what to do or not do may be helpful. nothing wrong with knowing what do in case of that emergency.

Great post!!!  I had never seen that video before.  I will make sure that my 16 year old daughter, who goes ice fishing often with me, watches it. We always try to be cautious, but you never know.
