Title: grafton lakes state park
Post by: jflood on Jan 05, 2006, 07:08 PM
New Guy. For some reason I've caught the ice fishing bug this year. I will most likely be heading up to long pond on Sunday. I have read the stocking reports and have always been told that Long has rainbows. I seemed to get skunked everytime. Any helpful tips???

Go somewhere else?  I've been there around five times and never iced a bow.  I go other places and don't have any problem catching them.

Mogwhy,
I may just bag Grafton and go to Trout Lake but something is telling to me to just give Grafton one chance this season. I have never fished in the correct DOW and using the right techniques. I'm am struggling with where to to go ???

Bass fishing is great in the summer on long pond, but I certainly agree with all of you, can't catch trout in the winter! >:(
