How's the ice at Chatfield these days?  Anything safe?  Coming into town this weekend and wondering if there's any safe metro area ice.  Boyd?

With this recent "colder" spell the ice might be ok.  I was thinking of trying it myself any reports would be great.

Can someone point out where Massey draw is?

Also, anyone know of bait shops nearby Chatty that sell minnows?

Thanks!

Massey Draw is the area out from the concrete overflow on the West side of the Lake.  Discount Tackle is the closest place to purchase minnows. (that I know of, anyway) Its on So. Sante Fe...  approx 2500 So. Sante Fe.  West side of street.

I've been having pretty good luck on the eyes out at Chatty the last 3 weeks using spoons tipped with minnow heads, both early mornings and evenings.
