Fished yesterday before the storm blew in. Nice steady bite kept me busy. I kept some extra for my lazy a## brother, and threw back another half dozen or so that were keeper size; (over 8") Off the lake by 2pm. Funny, I was catching almost all nice ones till they turned on briefly in the early afternoon, when I started catching a lot more small fish.

Thx guys; I was just glad to find decent fish in a local (less than an hour's drive) lake. Just finished dinner....Mmmmmm good! Time to whip up some more home made tartar sauce though. @)

Thanks Townie; I took my brother out to the same lake on a bright, sunny day (yesterday). Wow what a difference! Nothing for several hours, but as the light went down I started to jig some up and managed a similar no. of keepers but almost all in the last hour of light. I knew there was a reason I like pre storm front conditions! Surprisingly, we caught almost all the fish in the deepest part of the lake. Usually they are already in the shallows by now, but it's been a crazy year.
