Well, it ended today, went to Half Moon and fished for a while and it was a gorgeous day. 34 degrees, a little spitting snow little wind and occasional sun.
Only about 1" of new snow on 17" of clear ice and caught 5 fish. Why is it over you might ask (I know you were)?
Well the edges are getting slushy and don't seem like they will last very long, all the snow on top is gone and we are now losing good clear ice and the worst news is that I'm starting
my seven midnight shift today
and I'm sure there won't be access to the lake after 7 more days of this great weather.
I've called it a season and I'm depressed.
The bright side is that the Green River is mostly open so I guess I will have to get the fly rod out and polish it up a little
. Man that depression didn't last long. This season has been the best and the forum has been great as usual. I'll talk to all of you on myfishfinder.com.
Thanks for being the best, until next season
