Place to fish around kalispell today

Howdy there,

I'm new to this area and was looking for a place to ice fish today with my niece (She's from Texas and has never been, so for her last day in MT, we were hoping to go)

What lakes would you suggest that would have enough ice, even through this warm snap?  Something safe and not iffy is what i'm looking for...

Echo?  Foys?  Little Bitterroot?  Ashley?  Smith?  Rogers?  What about that slough on 35 East of Kali before 206?  I have fished none of these but they come to mind as being "nearish" to Kalispell...  I was out on Lion Lake yesterday (near Hungry Horse) and the ice was fine - a little damp on the topside though.
