First time this year
« on: Jan 22, 2024, 02:36 PM »
Got on the ice had to travel into the Berkshires elevation 1700 ft.  6 1/2 inches of decent quality ice. Fishing large shiners just under the ice ended up being a busy day eight or 10 Pickeral  biggest about 18 inches.  Probably had about 15 flags .  Went with a dozen and a half large bait came home with none.  Much to my surprise had the whole place to myself figured with the warmer weather coming in people will be out on the ice even if they had to take a day off .   Talk to a cop when I pulled into the parking lot he said yesterday the place was packed parking lot was full. Here’s hoping for some more cold weather to move in.

Sounds like one of my favorite elevation ponds out that way.
( P.P) with the pipes coming under the road.
