have caught some nice yellow perch south of the boat launch, where the lake starts to narrow, look for about 6 foot of water on the weed edges.  You will catch some if you can keep the pickeral away long enough. i have never been to the north side in the winter, though i hope to this year, looking for some crappies.

The best place for crappies and white perch is straight out from the boat launch on the north side of the thoroughfare rd. There are depths over 20 ft. and the crappies tend to hang there. Read the Sabattus vs. Pleasant Pond thread for more info. from me. Good Luck
