Just picked up another machine, still have the sled but very little snow around here the last few years so the SXS will be much more universal. Only had it out setting and checking trail cams and plowing a bit of snow so far, but planning a walleye trip later where I will be taking this. Got some holders, racks, etc. ordered for it, should be in next week.

Do you mind if I ask which rack that is on the back of that wheeler? Pretty slick

I got mine off Amazon
Guide Gear ATV Cargo Carrier, 300 lb. Capacity

I got the idea from Bart on here so he gets the credit but it works awesome. I’ve since quit hauling it in my truck I use my trailer now. I just didn’t like driving that thing up the ramps anymore LOL

You might have solved my problem! I've been trying to figure out a way to haul my ATV and flip over without pulling a trailer. How did it transport with that cargo carrier on the back? Any issues with long distances or rough back-roads?

No problems at all Junkie I drove up into Wisconsin like that a bunch of times. Now going off road you gotta take easy probably but with my monster box I never have to put anything in my sled when I got it on there and they’re rated for over 150# so just be sensible and you’ll be fine.

I have the Harbor Freight cargo carrier.  I think its $50. I have some pink foam board on the bottom to block the snow from the tires.  You can strap 3 milk crates across it.  I used zip strips to make it more permanent than bungee cords.  And some reflectix on the front of the crates for the same reason.  It's nice to keep the racks free for another person.   2018 Arctic Cat / Textron Alterra 500 and a Clam Nanook fish house.

I'm planning to use this when we get more ice. Sold the snowmobiles due to lack of snow and can't afford an atv. Got to look into the details for using it. I'm disabled with walking issues. All documented. The ADA act recognizes carts as a form of transportation the same as a power chair, scooter, Segway, etc. They are labeled- Other power driven personal mobility device.
Don't think helmets are required on a cart.  Also have to find out if I can unload and access the ice at a place like Silver Lake State park which supposedly bans atv' from launching there.

Traction shouldn't be a problem under the right conditions.

Forgot to mention I also added an extender to my receiver so I had enough space between my Monster Box and the back of the rack for either of my shacks.

Although having posted this ride previously, I've just recently mounted my Garmin EchoMAP CHIRP 53dv securely to the handlebar riser. Can now run-and-gun quite a bit more efficiently, no longer requiring my ice shuttle backpack.

Happy with my Tundra too.  Auger rack and a new flip over this year.  That's about it for mods/upgrades but its pretty compact and very comfortable.  Not the fastest thing out there though.

Very Nice! Can’t ever go wrong with a Tundra. I’ve had a few. What did you use for your auger rack? Great photos!

My 2011 440 Polaris fanner. Had all the options I wanted when I got it, reverse, aux pull start, and fairly light.

All done up and waiting to eat up the miles chasing the bite.  Two favorite mods are the hand warmers and the Garmin Echomap handlebar ram mount.  Both mods are nice when heading our in the early morning darkness.

You can't see my ride very well.  I'll have to take some pics of my setup better.  I have a Ram mount for my graph with GPS.  Now I can go right to my waypoints from my boat and the lake chip is very nice!

Its a Digger Auger Carrier.  Pretty easy install.  Needed to rig up a wider shim/plate underneath it so the hardware could attach to the stock rack behind the seat but a 1/2"thick  piece of scrap Cherry with some stain and a couple of coats of spar varnish worked nicely.  Rock solid setup but had to use caution through the trees with the extra width.

Honestly I prefer the yellow to the white but its all they had when I purchased it.  I'd be anxious to see how you trick yours out. Might give me some more ideas.  PM Me if ya get really creative.  ;D

Just found the sled I have been looking for: 2009 Ski-Doo Tundra 300f. Like the 1999 it replaces, it is simple, light, and smaller than modern sleds. Unlike the 1999, it has E-start, grip heaters, reverse, and an aluminum tunnel. Hauled it 1400 miles home, now to set it up to haul my gear and find those little neglected items that need addressed before the season.

I was looking at Kijiji- getting one out of Canada, but you can't go there yet- even for something as important as a snowmobile in June!

The guy I got mine from had 3 of them, all from Minnesota DNR, speckled with tree marking paint, and all about 1000 miles. T&T Sports and Lawn- in Rush City, MN.

I'll be headed up I35 in a couple of weeks on the way back to Sconnie for a week at the Sister's cottage.  If I needed another sled I'd really consider dragging my trailer and taking a detour to the north.  Looks like he has one left.
