Best tip-up line

What line do you prefer for your tip ups with northerns in mind?

whitetips:
Plain, old, braided Dacron.  Preferably in black.

Doubles Shooter:
I love my dacron too. My tip ups had dacron that was almost 30 years old when I finally rewound them. It never failed me. However I like white line to see what direction the fish is going.

FishGut:
Third the Dacron. I wish I could find the old tri-colored stuff like my grandpa had.
