That I and our whole crew at Juniper Hills Golf Course have been called back to work for Monday March 6th,to ready the course to open. Now I've been a golfcourse worker for over 30 years, and have NEVER been called back before April 1st, and a limited number of men, not an entire staff. I was informed today that our whole crew is starting Monday and readying the Course for opening as soon as all the rest of the snow in the shaded area's around the Greens are gone. So much for my last week of the Maine season trip this year. Maine Ice fishing ends March 31st, last seson on that week we were drilling holes in No. Maine from the tip of the auger + an 18" ext. to the motor to reach water and they have to stop Ice fishing on the 31st, that bites !

maybe well get hammard with some more snow,  you can go plowing.. head north.. and the cousre will be closed for a bit longer too...  we need these teens till the end of march!!  let us fish the ice into april!!!!   - moose
