My Grandpa was an old Michigan Decoy Carver and I have a few questions. I have quite a few of his carvings that where from later in his life when he didn't quite finish them. They have not yet had the lead added to them. I have his lead and the ability to melt it I was just wondering a little about how to go about this process and keep the lead from falling out. They are beautiful carvings and he has carved me a bunch to use. I would just like to finish the process he started and have a few more of his decoys to put on the shelf in the darkhouse. Any help is welcome guys!
