The last few outing have me thinking about moving the shack...I haven't been seeing the fish I expect.  I only fish on the weekends and it seems like every weekend has brought a new cold frint of late.  I don't know how much longer I can blame the weather!  Speared a 30 incher sat. morning just to get my dad on the score board for the year.  Turns out it was the only fish we saw in 3 days in the shanty...

Made it out Friday afternoon and Saturday sat for 6 hours and did not see a pike.
I was able to get out this morning with the weather moderating and saw and speared one.
Hopefully it will start to pick up again.

The barometer to me is important. Low pressure (storms, wind, snow, etc.) I don't do well. After the low and the barometer goes up I do better. (sunny, no wind, barrometer on the rise or steady for days) I do much better on high pressure for consecutive days! ><B>
