Sebago tip up
« on: Dec 11, 2016, 05:31 PM »
I found a photo on the site a year ago about a tip up made by the guys at sebago bait in Maine. I only saw the one photo and I would like to see a few more photos of the reel and release mechanism for the flag.

Has anyone used the and how do you like them

I just sent Glen (RealBigReel) a PM to see if he was making traps this year.

I have one, and would like to add a few more to the arsenal.

Though I think Jack Traps my have slightly better quality (keep in mind, this is subjective), the Sebago Traps fish better and are more versatile.  They are very easy to set and, with the bait clip, can be used from anything from perch to pike.

To compare them to another big name, the Seabago Traps offer quite an upgrade in quality and function from the Heritage Lakers too.

I believe the Sebagos are worth the extra money.
