Anyone ever fish Harvey gap? I hear there's decent perch and crappie in there?????

Nope.  They are all gone.  Hasn't been a fish in that lake for YEARS.....

Welcome to the Shanty.

There's no shortage of perch in Harvey Gap. The majority of them will be small.  Plenty of pike in there too.  Search through the old posts and you'll get an idea of what's in there.  There are photos.

WW, if you're ever over on this side of the mountain, I'd be glad to take ya to Harvey.  I'm not one to be tight lipped about fishing spots.  Takes the fun out of it to me if you can't share fishing success with someone else.  Granted, I'm not taking anyone to my favorite fly fishing spots, but I'll take anyone fly fishing too! ;D
