new tires-how big
« on: Jan 20, 2010, 07:01 PM »
hey guys, I have a 2005 kawasaki praire 700 4x4..I need a new set of skin for it. I would like to keep the factory rims on the machine but would like to put the largest tire possible on it without any modifications to the machine. Need some help.....I am currently running 25x10x12 on the back and 25x8x12 on the front....Front rims are 6x12 and the back are 7.5x12

I found a few sites that say its ok to go 1" higher and wider with factory rims. So i ordered a set of these 1" larger in everyway ;D...I will post pics when I get them mounted :)

most atvs you can as big as 27-28" usually, especially on a 700, most have the room for them without touching anywhere.....only thing with most "auto" (belt trans) there will be needed clutch kits to gain back all power....going one size bigger you should not have any problems......
