1st Eye of the season 2008! 21" not bad for the first fish!! FishingirlMN and my Twin Fishing Boys. Had to tell them to SLOW DOWN!! The adrenaline is already running in their veins!

I assume that he injured it the year prior or was possibly born that way. Other than the bald spot from rubbing trees there was no damage that i could tell to the skull, thats just how the pedical was positioned on his head...And the antler grew strait out of it. You should see how tight it grew to his head. I bet he taxidermist had a heck of a time getting that caped out. As far as the blood, guess it was from when i gutted it out and put it in little utility trailer.

Not sure if you were talking to me about the brookie or not, but the picture of me is a Rainbow, on the Missouri about thirty miles downstream from the headwaters at Three Forks.
