Plan in on being up there next weekend. Bringing up a side by side to pull sleds. What do we need to be legal with the Polaris?

Same as all lakes and rivers in Iowa. Why would there be any difference up there?

Never fish public waters. Borrowing a side by side. Want to make sure I got everything I need.

You will need to register the atv with your local courthouse.  I think mine is like $23.  Then just put the tag visible on the atv.

Bite has been good. Lots of sorting but when they are on your screen they usually bite, that may change with the cold front coming in. Was up there the weekend of the 4th. It was VERY busy. Get there early in the morning.

Smaller minnows work for the perch, but a tungsten hard rock northland mooska jig in red or gold with a spike or waxworm worked best for me. Looks like snow so good luck with your trip.
