Harvey Gap - Western Slope

Drove by Harvey Gap yesterday evening and walked down to a frozen lake!  As far as I could tell there isn't any open water.  Clear Ice between 1"-2".

Update... dec 9 at 12:30pm drove by Harvey with my auger to check depth.  Two guys out fishing near the damn.  They had about 20 perch. average is larger than last year by 1"-1.5".  They were in 3"-3.5" of ice and the other two spots I augered were the same 3"-3.5" (near ramp and north side

Thanks for the updates, I haven't ever fished Harvey just Rifle Gap. DO you know if Rifle Gap has any ice? I know last year the canceled their contest because no ice until almost January.

rifle i'd say is 75% open still.  just the edges and west side have ice.  That was from evening of the 7th.

Thanks, I might go out there again this year. I am focusing on the Crawford, Blue Mesa and Vega this year.
