8 eyes 4 cats 3 white bass.... Caught another dozen cats that were small another dozen smalleyes as well.... Plus a couple sheephead.... The Saginaw river grand slam lol

Im from Oklahoma so ive had my share of eating catfish so when we moved to Michigan i was like yeah theres cats here and kept a few to eat.not sure but they tasted like crap from Michigan waters.cold water catfish might be better.the catfish in oklahoma almost taste like white meat chicken,here it tasted like mud and really fishy.never ate one since.anyways nice mixed bag!!

I found the cats done taste good until they are about 20 inches..... Once they start eating live prey more i assume

So apparently cats in the sag river have high dioxin levels and are a do not eat species..... Dang.... I didnt know
