Wow, I also do this Derby every year.  I take my kids and a few other shanty members with me each year.  I pull the kids from school, they will be bummed.

This is garbage! I haven't fished it in forever but was planning on it this year with a  buddy. Not now!

F&G does get some very valuable information out of it however. And a portion of the money garnered goes to the landlocked salmon program.
