A lantern and a decent headlamp are key.I have a 4 man cube and a buddy heater that I've stayed out in before. Just be sure to stake all those hubs down good. Bought a fold up cot for $50 at Wally world tonight. It's going to make a world of difference if I try to actually catch some zzz's, but I don't see this thing lasting 10 trips. It's junk. I do have an extra 5x5 Clam portable I could bring if someone wants to use it for the day.
Sorry guys, I can't go. I just found out my wife's family is throwing together a congrats your pregnant party for my wife(she doesn't know about the party, its a surprise) and it this sunday. I guess another time for me.
Well, congrats are definitely in order. I feel for you man. One of those things you hate to admit, you'd probably rather go fishing.
Congrat's on the baby. I have a 5 month old and been loving every minute of it.
But wait till they are 15 and get mouthy and think they know everything...
question, a serious one.so i am still not sure whether i am going but if i will go, i am thinking to go friday after work and get there by 12am or so. is there anyone that is planning to be there friday/saturday and fish at night?
I am planning on leaving after work friday and overnighting friday night and saturday night. I will likely be the only shack out there so I will be hard to miss. Big red eskimo hub shack. If you are going to be there let me know. I also have a few extra tipups for you to use if you would like.
I dont really know the lake either, but I do have navionics on my phone. i figured we could set up in close to 40 foot of water. I do see that if we go about a half mile NE of the boat launch, we have an area that covers from about 20' to 140' in about .2 miles. Up to you guys though.
