My favorite laker jig, the Lindy flyer jig (not the spoon) has apparently been discontinued. These babies tipped with a fresh slab of smelt are unbeatable on my favorite lakes for pressured mud hens. Who makes something like it? The northland airplanes are alright and tube jigs work, but nothing is as good as the flyer jigs, I need to find a replacement pretty soon.

Did you check Ebay? I just punched in Lindy flyer jig and several came up.

looks easy enough to make ... a jig hook, melted lead in a baby spoon... and malepolish or prism tape.

I like jigging!

It seems Lindy is discontinuing certain jigs for others. I have witnessed and bought many of their jigs at greatly reduced prices. If it catches fish, I will buy it. The fish certainly don't know what works for us because they are trying to eat something good......

Awesome! I haven't been able to find anything locally or on their website, this should fit the bill!
