Well, I should have known it was going to be a slow day because the barometric pressure was still going down. The weather was gorgeous so I went for the late afternoon bite anyways. Only saw minnows on the flashers until the sun went below the horizon. Minnows are a good sign that the walleye might follow when it's feeding time!  :icefish: As I was starting to pack up, a decent mark FINALLY  ::) showed up. It was an aggressive walleye as it hit and followed my small perch pattern rattle bait 3x! The "witching" hour was more like the "witching 5 minutes"  ;D
NOTE TO ROAD 100N USERS: the last Stop sign area before getting on the lake was shear ice.......be careful!
